Sunday April 29th 2012

I woke up to the sweetest thing. Cambell laid out her clothes on the bathroom seat to wear to church today. It involved one of her Halloween costumes! My favorite part about it was the socks she picked out to wear with her Sunday shoes. It was precious. I already had my idea of what we would wear and she didn't like it. She eventually turned around. I wore this outfit with Kennedy and Katie a very long time ago so I wanted to get a picture with Kennedy and Cambell in it!

The topic in sacrament meeting today was receiving our patriarchal blessings. Taylor Corbin and David Cawthon did amazing. I think it was a good lesson for all of us to get one or read and study the one we already have!

We sang "How Great Thou Art" for the closing song today. It was the first time I sang the song without breaking down in a long long time. I was singing away and had made it all the way to the third verse before I even realized it. I would say that shows much improvement on my part!

Saturday Fun Day 4.28.12

Kennedy caught a pop fly in the top of the third inning and I heard a daddy tell his small son "That's how you need to do it"! So sweet!

We lost to the Red's today 11-10. The girls played their hearts out. The girls were on fire when a woman from the other team had a seizure in the stands. They lost their momentum after that and just didn't have enough time to catch up.

John did a great job coaching and everyone was in good spirits!

We took the kids to Earl's. Katie put her an oyster on a cracker and ate that thing. We love eating there.....it is the atmosphere that gets us every time!

We ended the evening with a good ole' wrestling match. "Bullet" Bob Armstrong was the main attraction to us. The kids were in shock we took them to such a production. They sat with their mouths open most of the time.

A memorable Saturday!

Victory over Red Socks 22-2

The girls played awesome tonight. Kennedy struck out twice and hit one single and one double.

Emma Sanders got on base for the first time this season tonight and we were thrilled. Kennedy played pitcher and played hard.

Kelly Castleberry played on the Red Socks team. I did the B A T T L E, battle Kelly battle cheer when Kelly got up to bat....it put a smile on her face. That was always her favorite cheer when we were on the same team last year.

It was a beautiful night to be playing softball tonight

Nana, Miriam, Fred, Carolyn and Nikki came to watch Kennedy!

We beat the Royals 17-0

The girls played so much better today than they did on Thursday. It was like night and day!

John was fussing because I didn't braid Kennedy's hair at the house and did it right before the game. He was acting like this was a playoff game.

The girls had fun playing today..... But it is always more fun when you are winning.

Cambell got a hold of Miss Jenna and didn't want to put her down. They were so cute playing together.

Gracie Gillis came home with us after the game to spend the night and Ali Windham came over to play for a little bit too. They had a a blast. Cambell loves all of the "big" girls being here.

We had a big afternoon thunderstorm and the girls got in trouble for trying to play in the mud puddles. Cambell came out on the back porch with her pants pulled up and secured with clothes pins so her pants wouldn't get dirty. We did have a big laugh!

Mathew went to Mormon Movie Night with Chapman tonight. Sweet Taylor Corbin took them out to Emily's since Katie is on her senior trip this weekend. This will be Mathews first time without Katie.

We had a great Saturday despite the rain!
