Terrific Tuesday
I am just getting home and it is 9:00PM since I left this morning. We have been getting it all day!
The kids did better about getting ready for school this morning so you know I am loving that. Mathew had a orthodontist appointment today to fix the spring that came out. They installed the spring because Mathew wouldn't wear his bands.... So they put a permanent band in for him!
Aaron was out of town so I took Mathew, Chapman, Adam and Jacob to Shalimar for a meeting on the 2013 National Scout Jamboree. The boys seemed real excited about it. We stopped by Slick Mick's to get some nourishment before the meeting. We didn't want our tummies growling during the meeting. It is different taking boys off..... They are so much louder than girls. I love them though.
We didn't get to read scriptures tonight because we got home so late but we will get them tomorrow night.

Whew!
Today was the first day back to school after spring break. The kids were dragging just a bit. We did get to school on time and in one piece.
Kennedy's class had a field trip to see The Hunger Games after school. The movie was rated PG-13 but Katie said it would be fine for her to watch...so...I went with her. I had to get up and leave during the movie to attend a City Council meeting. I couldn't believe how much I was in to it.
Mom and I went up to the city council meeting to support Mike Wing. A city councilman has asked for his resignation twice and they were suppose to vote on it tonight. Robyn Helt proposed they take it to committee and that vote passed. I was pleased to see the amount of people there in support of Mike.
We were able to read scriptures again tonight. John helped Cambell read tonight and it was the sweetest thing I have ever seen. I am so proud of my bunch!

Sunday, Sunday
Today was a great Sunday! We got to church on time. At least Mathew and I did! We struggle with this bit keep working on it.
It was Fast Sunday today. Sacrament meeting was fabulous, I filled in to teach the 12 year olds about repentance, Miriama taught an amazing lesson in Relief Society so John filled in for her in the nursery with Tommy. What a guy!
We ate dinner with mom and the family and came home just in time to head back over to the the church for Daniels baptism.
We read scriptures and said family prayers tonight for the first time in a while. We are going to work on being more in sync with each other. We only have one life and we need to get it right!

Just your average Saturday
We had another action packed day. Kennedy played her first softball game of the season. We lost to the Reds 2-1😖! The girls played awesome. Both teams were having trouble getting adjusted to the pitching machine. Cambell was not happy Kennedy moved up to the next league because that meant changing fields....we were no longer next to the play ground. Sweet Katie took her and her friend over to play for a bit.
Then we visited The Triple B Festival on Main Street for the first time. We ran into many friends and family. It was great fun. We came home and ate our weight in BBQ.
We cam home and laid out by the pool after our bellies were full!
We are looking forward to Mathew coming home today!

Last Day of Spring Break
Nothing much going on today. It rained lost of the day so all the girls laid around and watched TV/movies all day. Katie and Morgan Holloway saw the midnight showing of Hunger Games last night so they slept in.
Kennedy had softball practice tonight and I caught me a little map while they were gone.....shhh, don't tell!
I fixed dinner tonight after my FAIL last night. John said he thought this was the first time I had cooked dinner on a Friday night in the 12 years we had been married. The funny thing is that I think he is right!
Everyone seemed to enjoy it! We made a quick trip to Hibbetts for some last minute items for opening season of softball tomorrow.... Go Orierols!

4th Day of Spring Break
Ok, so today was not very exciting. Cambell and Kennedy attended the FREE movie up town and came back home. Emma Kolmetz came over for a bit to play monopoly while Cambell swam a little. Katie and Morgan hung by the pool and watched Cambell swim. Kennedy had softball practice so I had the bright idea to grill some burgers while they practiced. I had set out chicken this morning and everyone was turning their noses up at it.
I put the burgers on the grill and came inside so I would leave them alone and John came home to the grill on fire AGAIN! This happens every time I grill burgers. I do good at everything else....expect burgers! He got the fire under control so it's cereal for dinner tonight!
Mathew is visiting family in Virginia with Matt and will be gone until Saturday.
